CANCELLATION OF BOOKINGS WITH ECO CONSERVATION BUKIT LAWANG

Eco Conservation Bukit Lawang is committed to offering a fair and transparent booking experience. We therefore offer a 100% Money-Back Guarantee, subject to the terms outlined below. This policy helps protect both our participants and the local teams, guides, and communities who prepare for each booking in advance.

1. BOOKING & PROCESSING FEES
1.1
All bookings include non-refundable booking and processing fees. These fees cover administrative costs, local coordination, permits, and preparation carried out prior to arrival.

Booking and processing fees are non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations, changes in personal circumstances, travel delays, or visa issues.

2. CANCELLATION & REFUND STRUCTURE
Refunds apply to the program or trek balance only, excluding booking and processing fees.

2.1 15–30 Days Prior to Start Date
Participants are eligible for a 100% refund of the program or trek balance, minus booking and processing fees.

2.2 14 Days Prior to Start Date
Participants are eligible for a 50% refund of the program or trek balance, minus booking and processing fees.

2.3 0 Days Prior to Start Date / After Program or Trek Has Begun
No refund will be issued.

All payments are non-refundable once the program or trek has commenced or in the event of a no-show.

3. EARLY DEPARTURE
If a participant chooses to leave a program or trek after arrival, for any reason, no refund will be issued for unused days, activities, or services.

4. CANCELLATION REQUESTS

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

4.2
The date the written cancellation is received will be used to determine the applicable refund amount.

4.3
Approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, subject to local banking and administrative procedures.

5. GENERAL TERMS

• Refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible

• Eco Conservation Bukit Lawang reserves the right to verify all cancellation requests

• This policy applies to volunteer programs, jungle trekking experiences, and conservation activities
   

6. AGREEMENT
By confirming a booking with Eco Conservation Bukit Lawang, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation Policy and its terms.
